HEY, I’M JESS!
I’m the face behind the name! I’ve been a photographer for over seven years, and the bit I love most is getting to know the person in front of my camera. You’re never just another booking to me.
I’m very much an extrovert, I love meeting new people, and I’ve made friends for life through my photography. Getting to know you is one of my favourite parts of the experience.
I get in front of the camera too, so I know how vulnerable it can feel. If you’re worried about your body, feeling awkward or not knowing what to do, you can tell me. You don’t need to brush those feelings aside. We’ll make room for them and take things at a pace that feels right for you.

My new studio is tucked inside a beautiful old brewery in Great Baddow. I’ve filled it with rich tones, beautiful textures and carefully styled sets. There’s a dedicated getting-ready area where we can have a drink, chat and settle in before I pick up my camera.

A LITTLE REASSURANCE
IT’S OKAY TO
HAVE QUESTIONS
If you’re wondering “could I really do this?”, you’re not alone. Here are a few things you might be thinking about. And if your question isn’t here, I’m only a message away.
I’m really nervous. Is that normal?
Oh, absolutely. You can want to do this and still feel nervous about it. You don’t have to hide that from me. Tell me what’s on your mind, and we’ll talk it through before you decide anything. There’s no rush.
What if I don’t feel confident about my body?
You don’t have to love every part of yourself to be welcome here. I’ll listen to what feels sensitive and what you’d like to celebrate, without asking you to pretend those worries don’t exist. We can talk about outfits, poses and boundaries together.
I’ve never done this before. Will you help me pose?
Of course I will! You don’t need to practise, know your angles or have any modelling experience. I’ll show you what to do, right down to your hands and expression. And if something feels awkward, we’ll try something else.
Can I stay covered up?
Yes, absolutely. You choose what you wear and how much you share. A jumper, a robe or an outfit you already love is a lovely place to start. There’s no expectation to remove layers, and you can change your mind at any point.
What if I need a break or don’t like a pose?
Just tell me. We can pause, have a drink, change things up or skip a pose altogether. You never need to push through discomfort to please me. Your session should feel like something we’re doing together.
Where will I be coming?
My private studio is at 47 Church Street, Great Baddow, Chelmsford, Essex, CM2 7JA. It’s tucked inside an old brewery. I’ll help with arrival details before your visit, so finding me is one less thing to worry about.
What should I bring with me?
Bring your own outfits and choose pieces you feel comfortable in. If you’re staring at your wardrobe wondering where to start, send me a message. We can chat through your ideas together; you don’t need to have it all sorted already.
Can we talk about prices before I decide?
Of course. Ask me about my current packages, what’s included and any additional image or product costs. I want you to feel comfortable with the details before you choose to book. Asking a question doesn’t commit you to anything. You can also have a look at my experiences and prices whenever you feel ready.
When will I see my photographs?
Allow up to three weeks for your edited images, and another four to six weeks if you order an album afterwards. If you have a birthday, wedding or another special date in mind, let me know and we can talk about timing before you book.
How do I take the first step?
Just send me an email or give me a call. You can tell me what you’re hoping for, what’s worrying you, or simply say hello. We’ll have a conversation first, and you can decide what feels right for you.
